What Information we collect 

We collect personal information about you. To take advantage of some of the services and products we offer, you might be required to provide us with certain information about yourself by completing certain forms on the website or Facebook.

The information you provide is collected 

  • When you fill out a form online via our contact us or form or apply now.
  • When you see an advert on social media (facebook) or google and fill out the apply now form.
  • We also collect details of your visit to our website and your use of it to review and analyse market trends and to track sales data. Such data may include the pages you’ve viewed changes you make to information you supply to us, details of the quotes you request and your transaction together with details of your financial information such as bank or payment details. 

The information we collect from the forms is not limited to but includes, loan amount, type of loan, address, date of birth, annual salary, residential status, email address and telephone numbers and in some instances bank account and sort code.

We do not collect any sensitive or special category data.

What we use the data for

Once we collected the data, to process the application, we may decide to share the data with a lender, broker, or agency. This can be to validate identity, check credit score and history. This means we can also check eligibility and suitability for certain products and can confirm whether you are suitable. This also allows us to confirm if you are accepted and be able to contact you. We must collect the data to carry out our services in line with our terms and conditions.

We may also decide to send marketing material for products that we feel you might be interested; this is line with developing our business. If we believe there is fraud or money laundering suspicious activity, we may be in line with our duty to report the data to the necessary department to comply with legal requirements. We may also have to share data in order respond to any complaints. We may also in line with our regulatory requirements have to share data with the Financial Conduct Authority. 

This is on the lawful basis to perform the contract in place to provide the services (this is where you have accepted our terms and conditions).

How we store your information.

Keeping information about you secure is very important to us as required by the General Data Protection Regulation. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of personal information which you have provided via this website to prevent unauthorised access. We shall take all reasonable steps to ensure all your personal details remain secure. Credit Searches

We may decide to perform a credit search on you with the information provided as well as check the electoral register. The details of the search may leave a mark on your credit file that is visible to other lenders. This depends on the type of search and whether the application is successful or not. Credit searches will form part of the basis for deciding whether your application is successful and form part of verifying your identity and your creditworthiness. This may also be used to identify debt and prevent money laundering. In some cases, it may include information on your partner but based on your information you accept that you are financially independent in your search. How long do we keep hold of your information

The information you provide us will only be kept for as long as we must legally keep it (this is usually a minimum of 6 years). This is to comply we our legal and regulatory requirements. 

If you request that we do not contact you for advertising and marketing reasons, we will need to keep your information as this would reflect your preferences.
