What we do

We are a lender, broker & introducer. For our broking & introducer services we share information with other master brokers and lenders. We may charge a commission depending on type of loan however usually we get paid by commission from the lender.

We lend fixed sums of money at a fixed interest rate over a fixed period. Any loan is subject to approving your application and you signing a formal credit agreement at www.portlandfinance.co.uk. The credit agreement contains other information that we are obliged to supply to you, including the duration of the loan, the applicable %APR, how to cancel the loan, how to repay the loan early, the total amount you must repay, and any charges that may be payable under the credit agreement if you are in default

You may settle the loan at any time before the term expires and interest will be calculated and applied to give you a settlement figure. Interest is calculated and applied monthly to the loan on the day of signing the agreement at the beginning of each contract month and if you redeem early interest will be charged to the end of the contract month in which you redeem.  Any loan is subject to us approving your application and you signing a formal credit agreement.

When you fill out any form online, we will be in contact to discuss the loan options. We decide to pass your details to a master broker or lender you are under no obligation to take the loan that they may provide. We or any lender may decide to conduct a financial assessment on you prior to deciding approval. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
